CEO Update: Rejuve.AI 2024 Achievements and 2025 Goals

As CEO of Rejuve.AI, there is so much I’m proud of as we close out a remarkable 2024. I’m proud of my incredible team, who have worked tirelessly to push forward our vision of longevity for all. I’m proud of our achievements this year — from crucial product updates to new impactful partnerships and initiatives.


Just as importantly, I’m proud of the ever-strengthening relationship we’ve built with you, our Rejuve.AI community. This bond, grounded in trust and transparency from day one, means the world to me personally.


That’s why before we wish you a happy new year, I want to take the time to share our journey in 2024. I’d like you to know what we accomplished, what’s still on our agenda (and why), and the goals we’re setting for 2025.


With that, I’m honored to invite you to join me in this year-in-review for Rejuve.AI:


Rejuve.AI Ambassador Program Launch — Complete ✅


Our first milestone in 2024 was the successful launch of the Rejuve.AI Ambassador Program. This initiative invites you to contribute your time, ideas, and unique expertise to various tasks and initiatives that are vital to our progress, all while being rewarded for your contributions.


The launch included the kickoff of three divisions: KOLs, Community Moderators, and Community Tasks — now called the Wellness Collective — where members create various content on Discord to keep our community engaged. Additionally, we onboarded two champion Medical Advisors, Drs. John Thompson Smith and Taylor Kuhn, to lead the Clinicians division. They’ve been instrumental in networking with key leaders, stimulating involvement, and leading the recruitment for this division.


Our next steps are:


* The formal kickoff of the Clinicians division under the leadership of Drs. Smith and Kuhn.


* The launch of the Beta Testers division, separate from the current public beta, to work directly with our team on internal builds of the Rejuve Longevity App.


* The launch of the Community Developers division, contributing to our AI models and seeding our Generative Cooperative Network.


* The launch of the Governance group to manage data rewards and help establish a DAO.


Rejuve Longevity App’s Age Estimator & Bayes Net V2 — Updates 📝


Quick Overview

The goal of AI in the Rejuve Longevity App is to analyze data from different sources to understand the variables that affect every user’s aging process. To begin, our initial models, Bayes Expert and Age Estimator leverage training data from the National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (NHANES), a large-scale health and nutrition study from the US that has been running since 1999. We also added additional variables highly relevant to longevity/of interest to Rejuve scientists. These variables are mapped to questions in the Rejuve Longevity App, which are designed with a global user base in mind. For example, instead of asking, “Were you born in the US?” as the NHANES dataset does, the App asks, “What country do you normally reside in?” with 195+ options. This approach ultimately aims to build a more robust and inclusive international database.


Age Estimator:

Biological age has entered the mainstream discourse, and various aging clocks have consequently emerged in the consumer market. These include epigenetic, glycan, and clinical clocks. The latter is what our Rejuve Longevity App’s Age Estimator is currently.


It’s important to note that biological age is not an exact measure; rather, it reflects the relative speed of aging compared to an average person of the same chronological age. In fact, a dedicated consortium is working to define aging biomarkers and identify the best method for biological age assessment.


Our Age Estimator distills 149 variables from the NHANES dataset utilizing Multilayer Perceptrons (MLPs), a type of neural network.


The biological age calculator in the Longevity App Beta is a demo based on a mathematical function. With this coming update, the Age Estimator will be true AI, bringing us a giant leap forward toward launch.


Age Estimator Trajectory:

We plan to enhance the Age Estimator with user survey responses, wearables, and omic data to make it even more comprehensive. Infusion of these new data types and variables will be facilitated by a different kind of AI called Variational Autoencoder (VAE) which will allow the model to learn from new data and make better predictions. The Age Estimator is also the first model to seed our GCN, a novel system where generative AI models cooperate and compete to achieve biological simulation goals (see whitepaper for more). Stay tuned for our upcoming AI deep dives, where you’ll also learn how Community Developers can get involved in building out the GCN.


Bayes Net V2:

The goal of the Bayesian Network is to create a statistical framework that reflects the scientific consensus on healthspan using individual metrics, while also serving as a forever-free layer of the App for insights. Currently, V1 of the Bayes Net includes a subset of 150 biomarkers. We’ve since added new ones, bringing the total to 286, including some factors not covered in NHANES, such as intermittent fasting, caloric restriction, mindfulness, meditation, and select blood biomarkers. These additions are crucial for a more comprehensive longevity analysis.


To add these new variables, additional training and statistical inference were required to build a more robust model that delivers improved insights and recommendations. We’re also incorporating the latest research on the Hallmarks of Aging, adding the three newly identified hallmarks to our model.


Bayes Net V2 Trajectory:

We plan to enhance the Bayes Net with real-world data and upgrade it to a more dynamic version. This will enable long-term trend analyses, rather than just snapshots of data. By integrating it with an LLM, we aim to offer more relevant recommendations and allow for deeper data exploration.


To Sum up:

The goal of both the Age Estimator and Bayes Expert V2 models is to offer statistically accurate generalizations based on a large subset of longevity biomarkers. As we collect more real-world data, we’ll continue to improve and expand these models to support your journey toward healthy longevity.


Release of the Rejuve Longevity App on the App Store and Play Store 📲


Due to the current AI models being in demo mode with known critical errors, the Rejuve Longevity App remains in public beta. This decision ensures scientific integrity and avoids misleading users who may not be aware of the current status. We’re working hard on addressing these errors in order to submit the App to Apple’s App Store and Google’s Play Store as soon as possible.


At the same time, we’ve been finalizing metrics for full GDPR compliance, assuring maximal safety and security of user data.


Further on up on the road, we also look forward to undergoing a full ethics review by Brany IRB. That’s because the collection of data to build models and track global health trends officially qualifies as an Observational Study. The real study will formally begin once users register their dNFT (we’ll cover that in one of the items below), but preparations are already underway to ensure readiness.


Once the App is submitted and approved, we will launch a major marketing campaign to drive awareness, encourage downloads, and celebrate an App that health enthusiasts will truly enjoy using.


RJV Spending on the Rejuve Longevity App — Virtually Complete ✔️


Several of our Rejuve.AI ecosystem partners are already accepting RJV tokens on their platforms, including the commitment of our most recent partner, ImagineHealth Thailand. This partnership marks a world-first, enabling users to pay for longevity interventions like stem cells using RJV.


This is possible thanks to our collaboration with NowPayments, which allows seamless integration of crypto payments into Web2 and traditional platforms. Through this same integration, we’re able to offer RJV spending within the App for various features. This functionality is virtually complete, with a robust API already in place to process transactions.

App users will also have the option to purchase premium subscriptions and services like lab tests using RJV directly through the App. Additionally, we’re working on enabling this feature via the Cardano chain.


AGIX Hodler’s Airdrop — Post App Launch 🔜


For those newer to our community, Rejuve.AI originated as a spin-off of SingularityNET and was part of a community-approved proposition by AGIX (now ASI from the Artificial Superintelligence Alliance) holders. As agreed, 5% of the early token supply from spin-off projects was allocated to AGIX holders. This allocation remains untouched, and we’re committed to delivering it as promised.


The claiming process will be split equally: 50% through an airdrop portal, similar to previous SingularityDAO and Nunet airdrops, and 50% within the Rejuve Longevity App. We deeply appreciate the loyalty of our ecosystem community and are prioritizing this for Q1.


Integration of DataNFT Smart Contracts into the Longevity App — Updates 📝


The DataNFT (dNFT) is a key element of the Rejuve Network ecosystem, ensuring each entry in our research data commons is uniquely identified. This year, our contract was successfully audited by Hacken, and testing has begun on testnet.


Thanks to advancements in Web3 infrastructure as well, we can now use a Proof of Human protocol instead of traditional KYC. This improves privacy and anonymity while maintaining data integrity.


While a compatible solution for the Cardano network is being developed, the Rejuve Longevity App will use SingularityNET’s wallet linking tool to connect a dNFT holding wallet to a Cardano wallet for token claiming.


Wallet Connections on the App — Updates 📝


Claiming tokens is directly linked to dNFT integration. Without this, bad actors could create multiple instances and drain the supply. Wallet connection is also crucial for minting and collecting dNFTs. This task is in progress, with key research and planning for Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) compatible wallets integration complete. We are also actively exploring Cardano wallet solutions for seamless integration with our app.


Kickoff of Formal Research Program and Data Commons 🔜


Once the essential steps of integrating dNFTs and wallets are complete, along with an IRB review to ensure adherence to the highest ethical standards for human research subjects, we will officially kick off our research program.


This initial phase will be a longitudinal observational study focusing on international health trends, with an emphasis on building personalized AI models for extending healthspan.

We will gather data from health enthusiasts and biohackers, including unorthodox data such as results from stem cell and gene therapies, providing valuable insights for users with similar health profiles. This data will help both the field and our platform identify key areas for accelerating the defeat of aging. It also supports decentralized science (DeSci) by allowing dynamic, diverse contributions from people around the world, creating algorithms driven by the people, for the people.


This milestone also aligns with our pivotal goal of N-of-1 trials, filling gaps in global wellness and longevity knowledge and enabling AI-driven protocols to be continuously optimized.


2025 Goals 🌟


Core App Feature Enhancements


  • Enabling logging of medications, supplements, and vaccination on the Rejuve Longevity App

This crucial information will be integrated into users’ insights. UI Screens have already been designed and development is in progress.


  • Improved lab test logging on the App via PDF upload and OCR

We are aware that current manual entry is tedious so this upcoming feature will make it much easier and encourage you to upload more data for better insights.


  • Roll-out of educational content & gamification

Deep dive into the science of longevity as well as crypto onboarding with learn-to-earn campaigns. Compete in challenges and engage in interactive goal-tracking.


  • Translation of the App into more languages

As one of the most requested features by Beta testers, we look forward to localizing the App and increasing its accessibility worldwide.


Research & AI Development


  • Full roll-out of dNFT and official start of the Rejuve research database


  • Improvement of our AI models

This includes building the Generative Cooperative Network (GCN) with the Ambassador Program’s Developers division, and training and upgrading our models with live, longitudinal data from App users to enable more accurate insights.


  • Integration of genomic and epigenetic data

In our efforts to make it more comprehensive, we plan to enable the integration of omic data into our Age Estimator. Agreements with existing leading partners such as Sequencing.com, TruDiagnostic, and GlycanAge will facilitate this breakthrough.


  • Publishing research papers

We aim to publish our Bayesian Network and Generative Cooperative Network AI approaches.


Marketing & Community


  • Continuation of Ambassador Program roll-out

As mentioned above, we aim to kickstart the Clinicians, Governance, Beta Testers, and Developers divisions of the program.


  • Marketing campaign to promote the launch of the App 

    This will include extensive media outreach, community AMAs, and other tactics to drive up downloads and reach biohacking communities.



 

Heading into 2025, it’s clear that we have our work cut out for us. But, one thing our ambition has taught us is to stay dynamic and keep an open mind should new opportunities arise that shift our course along the way. One thing’s for sure: you’ll be the first to know about all major Rejuve.AI developments as always.
